How to use it

- Open verify.waeconline.org.ng.
- Choose the route that matches you — candidate, institution or employer.
- Enter the candidate details requested, then the verification PIN.
- Submit, and save or print what comes back.

Before you buy
- Confirm nobody else has already paid for the verification.
- Have the candidate's exam number and exam year to hand.

Questions people ask
Is this the same as a WAEC scratch card?
No, and this is the mistake that costs people money. A scratch card (₦5,640) shows you your own grades. A verification PIN (₦5,850) proves to somebody else that those grades are real. If you only want to see your result, buy the scratch card.
Why would I need one?
The common reason is NYSC registration, where your WAEC data has to be confirmed or corrected — a date-of-birth correction, for instance. Institutions and employers also use verification to confirm a certificate is genuine.
Does the candidate buy it, or the institution?
Either. Some institutions run the verification themselves; often the candidate is asked to buy the PIN and supply it. Ask whoever requested the verification which of you is paying before you buy.
