How to Check Your WAEC Result Online
You need a WAEC result checker PIN and serial number. Buy one, then enter it on waecdirect.org with your exam number, exam year and exam type. Here is the full process.
What you need before you start
- Your WAEC exam number, from your registration slip or admission notice.
- The exam year and exam type (WASSCE School Candidate, WASSCE Private Candidate, or GCE).
- A result checker PIN and serial number — buy one here for ₦5,640.
Steps
- Buy a WAEC result checker PIN. It arrives on screen and by email as soon as your payment clears.
- Open waecdirect.org.
- Enter your exam number exactly as printed on your slip.
- Select the exam year — the year you sat the exam, not the current year.
- Select the exam type: WASSCE School Candidate, WASSCE Private Candidate, or GCE.
- Enter the card serial number and PIN from your Awajis Pay order.
- Submit the form to view your result.
- Print or screenshot the result page. You have four more checks left on this PIN if you need them.
One PIN, one candidate, five checks
A single WAEC result checker PIN checks one candidate's result up to five times. It will not work for a second candidate's exam number — buy a separate PIN for each candidate.
If it does not work

What if waecdirect.org says my PIN is invalid?
Check the serial number and PIN again — a mistyped character is the most common cause. If it still fails, message us on WhatsApp with your order reference.
Does WAEC release the result, or does the PIN release it?
WAEC releases the result on its own schedule. The PIN only lets you view it once WAEC has published it. Buying a PIN early does not speed this up.
Is this the official WAEC checking site?
No. Awajis Pay sells the PIN. You check the result on waecdirect.org, which is run by WAEC.
